Business Action Plan session
Before enrolling in our business management training
course, you must attend one of the FREE My
Business Action Plan sessions* listed below.
Women’s Initiative’s My Business Action
Plan workshop will guide you through a self-assessment
of your business idea and help you develop next
steps to launching your enterprise. This is the
first in a series of classes designed to support
your planning, marketing and other business management
skills that will give you the tools necessary to
start or expand your own business. Women's Initiative
focuses specifically on the needs of low-income
women who are exploring a business idea. You do
not need to register for the session. Doors close
promptly on the hour so please be punctual. We cannot
accommodate children or pets.

Simple
Steps
You must attend a My Business
Action Plan session before you can enroll in
the Simple Steps course.
The Simple Steps business management
course offers training to help you start, strengthen,
or grow your small business. Topics include marketing,
pricing strategies, record keeping, cash flow, and
time/stress management.
The course is eleven weeks long. Classes meet
twice a week for three hours. A one-hour required
lab is offered once a week. The course fees include
a $25 workbook fee (due with your registration)
and a $75 class fee (due the 4th day of class).
