How to Open a Business in the City of Concord, by Joyce D. Seitz and John Montagh, Economic Development Specialists for the City of Concord. Wed, September 10, 6pm, Women’s Initiative Concord (1465 Enea Circle, Bldg. E, Suite 900). Come find out how your business could benefit from being in the City of Concord, all your questions answered by those who know plus any perks your business could receive through the City. Plus the Economic Development Department has a host of inviting information on programs that could be available to you and your business, don’t miss out!

Legal Advice for Small Business Owners by Beatriz Dueñas. Occurs second Wednesday of every month at Women’s Initiative San Francisco. Do you have a legal question involving your small business? Have you wondered whether you should continue as a sole proprietor or form a corporation or LLC? Do you have questions about a lease or hiring employees? The Legal Services for Entrepreneurs Program is hosting an office hour’s program where you can ask a business lawyer questions about your small business in areas including: 1) entity formation, 2) intellectual property (copyright, trademark), 3) employment, 4) real estate, 5) equity and debt financing, 5) contracts.
